A remote trek
in the beautiful High Atlas mountains of Morocco, including an
ascent of Mt Toubkal
On this trek in the High Atlas you will discover peaks,
passes and valleys. As we cross into the Atlas range we see both the
northern slopes of the Atlas and incredible views of the Sahara
to the south. Our campsites are wild and scenic, hidden in
high valleys, nestled against glacial lakes or close to traditional
Berber villages which see few Europeans. We finish with an (optional)
ascent of North Africa’s highest mountain, Mt Toubkal
(4167m). After the trek we return to Marrakech to rest our
feet in its pleasant gardens or enter the souk for some last minute
shopping.
