An adventuous
tour of the little-visited Jebel Mgoun, through the scenic Bougamez
Valley and Central Atlas Mountains
The Central Atlas is a remote area with beautifully
cultivated valleys and hillsides, wooded with juniper and
Mediterranean oak. Its remote location has meant that the
inhabitants have maintained a traditional rural way of life,
unchanged for decades. An ascent of Jebel Mgoun at 4068m is a
highlight of the trek. Our trip finishes in Marrakech with time to
experience the vibrancy of this beautiful city at night.
